Part 1 shows how to use 3DE4's matrix tool to capture the structure of a modern grid shot (perspectively recorded grid). It is demonstrated how to calculate precise lens distortion and focal length parameters. Finally, 3DE4's dynamic lens distortion feature is discussed in detail.

Part 2 shows how to use 3DE4's matrix tool to extract lens distortion parameters out of a classic grid shot of an anamorphic lens.
